The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade C (Group B, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. Only those candidates who have skills in stenography are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates should go through the advertisement prior to apply on line.

Lower Age Limit : 18 Years Upper Age Limit for Stenographer (Group C): 32 Years Upper Age Limit for Stenographer (Group D): 27 Years Age Relaxation as per Govt Rules.
QUALIFICATION
Candidates Should Passed 12th Exam from a recognized Board or University with Typing speed of 100 wpm for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 80 wpm for the post of Stenographer Grade D. The Transcription time For Stenographer Grade C : English : 40 Min and Hindi 55 Min The Transcription time For Stenographer Grade D : English : 50 Min and Hindi 65 Min
