QUALIFICATION
SUB INSPECTOR OF POLICE	Graduate in any discipline. Passed odia examination in class VII/above or equivalent.
STATION OFFICER (Fire Service)	Graduate in Science or Engineering. Only Male candidates can apply. Passed odia examination in class VII/above or equivalent.
ASSISTANT JAILOR	Graduate in any discipline. Passed odia examination in class VII/above or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
GENERAL, SCBC (M)	Height - 168 cm Weight - 55 kg Chest - 79+5 cm
GENERAL, SCBC(W)	Height - 155 cm Weight – 47.5 kg Chest – Not applicable
SC/ST (M)	Height - 163 cm Weight – 50 kg Chest – 76+5 cm
SC/ST (W)	Height – 150 cm Weight – 45 kg Chest – Not applicable
PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST
FOR MEN	Running - 1.6 km in 8 minutes Cycling – 1.6 km in 5 minutes Long jump - 3.66 meter in 3 attempts Cross-country - 5 km within 40 minutes Running over low huddles of 77cm heights- 100 meters with 10 flights in 25 seconds. For Fire Service candidates extra test is there.
FOR WOMEN	Running - 1.6 km in 10 minutes Cycling – 1.6 km in 7 minutes Long jump – 2.77 meters in 3 attempts Cross-country - 4 km within 40 minutes Running over low huddles of 62 cm heights- 80 meters with 10 flights in 30 seconds.
